1946 Grew 20'6", ELMARA. This boat was restored in 2000. The boat has a 6 cylinder Chrysler engine, new upholstery, a lattice floor, new mooring cover. This boat was built for the President of Grew, Mr. Jack Pady. A plaque is mounted on the boat authenticating the original ownership. The boat is stored in a boathouse in the town of Dorset on Lake of Bays.

This boat was donated to the Lake of Bays Marine Museum so that it could be sold. All of the money received from this sale will be used to restore the SS Bigwin. The ELMARA was once owned and maintained by the Shipwright restoring the SS Bigwin, Charley Butler. For many years Butler Marine displayed the ELMARA at the Toronto Boat Show. This boats history is very unique making it very special which will likely enhance its value in the future. Perhaps the new owner will bring the ELMARA in 2010 to the launching of the SS Bigwin on her 100th Birthday.
