Our cottage is a charming little 3 bedroom cottage on Lake Cecebe. We really love it and as you can imagine hate the thought of renting it but for the first few years we will have to.

While our cottage is on the main land, the road ends 1km from it. It is therefore boat access and thus, we will be leaving a 14 ft aluminum boat with a 7.7hp motor. If the renters desire, they can rent a bigger boat from the marina. Our cottage is 5 minutes from the marina.
We have 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and one with a single. We will be changing the couch that is currently in the living room and putting in a futon to accommodate more sleeping. This will allow 7 people to sleep there. We will also be replacing the fridge that is in the kitchen. It works great but is old and I will buy a new one for the kitchen in early spring. We will be adding a microwave oven as well. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with lots of pots, pans, dishes etc. It also has a fairly new stove and oven. There is a 12 cup coffee maker and reusable filters. Although you could drink the water and the previous owner put a water filter on the tap, I do not drink it and would not allow my family to drink it. We take up bottled water.

We have a ringer washer and full size dryer in a separate laundry room.

The bathroom was built in the 70's and has a full size bathtub with a shower. It is quite nice.

The outside is wonderful. We have built a small sandy beach for playing and swimming. We have 2.5 acres so there is a lot of room and complete privacy on one side. There are neighbours on the other side but they are very nice and very friendly. We have a rather large clearing in the middle of the land with a beautiful children's swing.

Lake Cecebe is known for it's fishing and our cottage is in the best fishing area of the lake. We are in a quiet bay known as "Green Bay" so for fishing it's amazing.

We will leave some fishing rods etc., and sand toys for children. We have 4 kids so we have a lot of sand toys.

We will not leave our lifejackets but will leave some older adult ones. I am not leaving linen or towels but will leave blankets and some pillows. After having rented cottages for years, I think that this is fairly standard.

We have a backup generator in case of power outage. We have a new T.V. with a VCR and a satellite dish that gets a lot of channels. The cottage is wired with speakers from an old radio with a cassette player.

We have a fireplace inside and a fireplace/barbeque outside.

We do not wish for any smoking or pets in our cottage. Mark, along with 1 of my children suffer from asthma allergies from pets or smoke.
